Bio
I started playing the piano at 6 years old in Littleton Colorado. My mom played, and I would sit on the floor behind her soaking it in. By 11 I was asking for an electric guitar and started lessons in downtown Littleton. I didn't take to reading music, but found sounding out songs and forming my own ideas came easy. I tried song writing in my early teens and played a talent show and with classmates here and there through High School. After graduation, I joined a band. After several name changes, multiple drummers, we settled on the band name "the Scrubz". Take that society! We made 3 CD's and had modest success on the Denver circuit. We opened for a couple national acts and got some radio play on the locals shows around Denver (KBPI). After a hiatus of sorts, I focused on home recording and started compiling the equipment to get good "Signal to tape". in 2009 I made my first solo project Toxic Syndrome- Clobberjaw and got the song "The Walls you Build" on radio station Alice. In 2014 I moved to Summit County and dusted of the acoustic guitar and started to play at the local open mics as a solo act. After gaining some confidence, I started booking some dates around town. In 2015 I recorded Lifespan in Breckenridge/Frisco Colorado. This was a piano and acoustic guitar based CD with vocal harmonies. I got some local airplay with songs like "Lost in the World" and "Im Being Watched". Around 2017 I focused on learning cover songs again to bolster the live shows around town. I upgraded the guitars and PA with income working as a Loan Officer and began work on a new original project. In 2021 I released "Summer Song" which was a throw back album to my youth mixed with ballads and rockers and even an electronic song to end the CD. In 2023 I played over 70 shows locally in Summit County and have a song picked to be in a movie filming in June 2024. I have the music written for a new CD and am working on the Lyrics and recording when I can. I look forward to seeing you out at a show this year!
